Generally, accommodation provided by the school is located in the historical centre, or in the districts that surround it, usually from 20 - 50 minutes in bus from the school. There are two types of accommodation:
IN FAMILIES
this type of accommodation normally offers greater contact with the owner of the house and is a unique opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Italian culture and customs; however it also means adapting a bit to the routines and timetable of the family. You can choose between an options where only breakfast is provided or another which includes half-board. Students can use the common areas and receive telephone calls. The 'family' can also be made up of just one person.
APARTMENT WITH BATHROOM AND KITCHEN IN COMMON
this is an apartment which you will share with other students, foreign or Italian, or the owner of the house. Students have greater independence, they share the bathroom and they can use the kitchen,
Students must bring their own towels.
For all types of accommodation, students are asked to inform the time and date of their arrival to the owner of the house or the school, at least four days in advance.
Booking and payment of accommodation
to book accommodation, the school needs a credit card number (your own or that of a relative) as a guarantee. When the school confirms the accommodation, it will inform students of the exact price of the rent. The amount must be paid in cash within the first three days of arrival, directly to the landlord/owner of the house. Upon paying the rent, the conditions of accommodation are accepted. In the event that there are doubts about the accommodation, please contact the secretary at the school, before paying the rent.
